Privacy Policy

Effective Date: August 27, 2026Platform: EveryZapVersion: 1.0

Summary of Our Privacy Commitment

At EveryZap, we believe your data belongs to you. Our online utilities—including the JSON Formatter, Base64 Converter, URL Encoder, UUID Generator, and Academic Calculators—operate strictly inside your web browser. Your tool calculation inputs, files, code payloads, and outputs are processed locally and are not uploaded, stored, or processed on EveryZap tool-processing servers.

1. Introduction & Overview

Welcome to EveryZap ("we," "our," or "the Platform"). This Privacy Policy explains our transparent practices regarding data processing, browser storage, and standard network operations when you access and use our website at https://everyzap.com.

By accessing or using EveryZap, you acknowledge the practices described in this document. If you have questions regarding this policy, please reach out through our Contact Page.

2. 100% Client-Side Processing Architecture

Our core technical philosophy is local-first execution. When you use tools on our platform:

  • Developer Tools: JSON formatting, validation, minification, Base64 encoding/decoding, URL percent-encoding, and UUID generation run entirely via JavaScript APIs inside your browser's local sandbox (such as JSON.parse(), TextEncoder, and crypto.randomUUID()).
  • Student Calculators: CGPA, SGPA, and Attendance calculations execute purely mathematical formulas in your browser memory.
  • Financial & Math Calculators: GST, Salary Take-Home breakdown, Percentage, and Unit conversions compute results on your local device.

Technical Note: Because tool processing occurs client-side, your input text, source code, pay details, and academic marks are not uploaded to EveryZap's tool-processing servers.

3. Information We Do NOT Collect

Because we do not require account registration or server-side tool execution, we do NOT collect:

  • User accounts or passwords
  • Payment or credit card numbers
  • Tool calculation inputs & code
  • Clipboard data or personal files

4. Local Browser Storage & Preferences

We use minimal, client-side web storage mechanisms (localStorage) strictly to preserve user interface preferences:

  • Theme Preference: Storing your chosen display mode ('light' or 'dark') so the website maintains your selected visual theme across page reloads.

This data remains entirely on your personal computer or mobile device and is never synchronized to our servers. You can clear this preference at any time via your browser settings.

5. Hosting Infrastructure & Standard Web Logs

Like all web properties, when your browser requests static HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and asset files, standard network communication data is processed by our global Content Delivery Network (Cloudflare Pages) to deliver the pages securely and prevent DDoS attacks.

These standard CDN transit logs may include:

  • Internet Protocol (IP) address
  • Browser type, operating system, and user agent
  • Date, time, and referring URL of the request
  • Requested resource URL (e.g., /developer-tools/json-formatter/)

These logs are used exclusively for network security, DDoS mitigation, and server performance monitoring. They are not linked to individual identities or calculation inputs.

6. Third-Party Services & External Links

Our website may contain links to third-party resources, documentation, and external websites for educational reference. We do not control and are not responsible for the privacy practices, content, or policies of external third-party sites. We encourage you to review their privacy policies when navigating away from our domain.

7. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

EveryZap is designed with a strong commitment to user privacy. We do NOT use invasive cross-site advertising trackers, behavioral profiling beacons, or third-party data brokers.

To monitor website infrastructure health, analyze visitor volume, and improve tool availability, EveryZap currently loads Google Analytics (Measurement ID: G-VRBQ54PXV3). Google Analytics uses standard first-party cookies and script beacons to collect aggregate site usage telemetry, such as pages viewed, general browser and device types, operating systems, and referrers.

Tool Privacy Guarantee: Google Analytics only measures generic web navigation. Your tool inputs, code snippets, JSON payloads, Base64 strings, salary numbers, and academic marks are processed strictly in your local browser sandbox and are never sent to Google Analytics or stored on our servers.

We do not currently operate an automated cookie consent banner on this website. Visitors who prefer to block analytics telemetry may disable cookies or restrict script execution through their browser settings, content blockers, or the official Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

8. Data Security & Encryption

We implement strict security measures to protect website traffic:

  • HTTPS & TLS: All platform traffic is encrypted in transit using industry-standard Transport Layer Security (TLS 1.3).
  • Security Headers: We enforce HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS), X-Content-Type-Options: nosniff, and strict Referrer Policies to protect against clickjacking, MIME-sniffing, and injection attacks.

9. Children's Online Privacy Protection

Our website provides general-purpose educational and developer utilities suitable for all audiences. We do not knowingly solicit or collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13.

10. User Rights & Data Control

Depending on your geographical region (such as GDPR in the European Union or CCPA/CPRA in California), you may have legal rights regarding your personal data. Because EveryZap does not maintain user accounts, databases, or identifiable calculation records, we hold zero user-identifiable records to access, rectify, or delete.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect technological improvements, new tool additions, or regulatory updates. Any changes will be posted directly on this page with an updated "Effective Date" at the top.
